Last night, your Loy Norrix League of Legends squad was in action against the Carmel Greyhounds from Carmel, IN. After losing in the opening game, the Knights held their ground in the second match, patiently waiting for their opponents to provide an opening. After some quick thinking and excellent team work, the Knights managed to take the second game in thrilling fashion, leading to a 1-1 draw for the match. If you see them in the hallway, please congratulate Josh Driz, Jake Tran, Ben Sierra, Jesse Levya, and John Bigcal on a match well played. Tune in to the Loy Norrix eSports Twitch channel tonight at 5 to watch the Rocket League team take on their opponents from Marathon High School in Marathon, FL. Don’t miss a minute.

Today, November 14th Loy Norrix will be streaming the Sundance award-winning film about child labor in India.This event will be in the library from 2:30-4:15.  Come learn about the exclusion of the world’s most marginalized children and young people.

Chess Club meets today from 2:20 to 3:30.  Anybody may attend, and anyone who beats Mr. Bellware wins a customized chess board.

Last night, the Loy Norrix Overwatch team resumed their winning ways with a 2-0 sweep of their opponents, the Blue Devils from Brunswick, Ohio. The Cavalry used a combination of teamwork, quick thinking, and adjusting their tactics to easily defeat their opponents. If you see them, please congratulate Elliot Russel, Parker Kissel, Gabe Vroman, Jackson Kiino, Cam Green and Joe Bannon on a match well played. Tune in to the Loy Norrix Twitch channel tonight as our League of Legends squad takes on their opponents, the Carmel Greyhounds from Carmel, IN. We hope you can tune in.

The Loy Norrix video game club will be hosting a Smash Brothers tournament today, November 13, in the library immediately after school. The tournament is free to enter, so come test your skills in this fun, friendly event. We hope to see you there!

Yesterday was Veteran’s Day and we need to honor our 3 veteran’s here at LoyNorrix
