The Loy Norrix Cross Country teams performed extremely well for the second weekend in a row. Two weekends ago, they competed at the conference meet at the Gilmore Car Museum grounds. Most runners had the race of their careers and surprised many teams with the women’s and men’s teams performing better than projected.

This past weekend nearly every lady and many guys had career races again at the Regional meet. The day was cold and windy but that didn’t matter to most of your Knights. Joe Meyers followed his conference championship win with a regional runner-up finish, punching his ticket to the State meet this coming weekend.

If anyone wants to come watch the cross country state meet this coming Saturday at MIS, see Coach Schmidt or Savicke for the time and carpool information.

There will be NO AAC on Monday or Wednesday this week due to staff meetings.  Make sure to take your normal bus since there will be no teachers available to assist you.
