The Loy Norrix cross country teams competed at the Portage Invitational this past weekend. At one of the biggest meets in the state, your Knights battled not only some of the best teams, but also brutal winds, heat, and humidity. In spite of not having three of our best runners able to compete, many runners still performed well. Garrett Bloom, Bill Bowser, Jack Warmelink, and Katherine Gilbert all ran their best times of the season. Sara Elfring, Bella Ford, Matthew Dunham, Clayton High, Michael Price, and Silas Warren all ran their best ever times. Still many more were within 10 to 15 seconds of their bests. They get the next two weeks to train and prepare for the SMAC Conference meet to be held at the Gilmore Car Museum on October 21st.

Seniors more college visits are being scheduled daily.  Please stop by the counseling office to sign up and watch the TV’s for up-to-date information about these visits.
