Attention all Sophomores! The application deadline for the WMU School of Medicine
Early Introduction to Health Careers program has been extended until today, December
6th by 1:00pm. Sophomores, you are strongly encouraged to apply for this program if
you are interested in a career in health care, or unsure about your desired career
path. Please turn in applications to the counseling office as soon as possible to be
considered for this amazing opportunity.
Chess Club meets today from 2:20-3:30 in room D10. Anyone may attend, including staff members.
Attention Forensic Team – an all pod meeting will be held today, Wednesday, after

Attention seniors! The deadline for senior pictures and senior quotes has been
extended to December 31! Email your picture and quote
to loynorrixyearbook@kalamazoopublicschools.net or bring to K3. Quotes must be 100
characters or fewer and school appropriate. You can email a quote even if you’ve
already submitted a picture. This is the final deadline, so don’t miss it!

If you played a fall sport and were unable to attend the Fall Sports Awards night on Nov

Your AP Scholar for today is Antonio Cornieles! Antonio is a LN junior who
passed AP US History & is currently taking AP Spanish & AP Government. Since the
rigorous curriculum in his AP classes reflects college courses, he feels that he will be
better prepared for college. AP classes have helped him develop better study skills &
manage his time better. He also feels that his AP classes have improved his ability to
analyze & interpret information. Antonio is planning on taking AP Physics & AP
Chemistry next year. He is planning on applying to UofM & WMU his senior year to
study Aerospace Engineering
