The Martin Luther King, Jr Celebration Day will be at WMU this Saturday. Come
celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr., learn about what it means to attend college and have
a great lunch before you leave. More details to follow this week.

Auditions for the spring musical, Little Shop of Horrors, are fast-approaching. Group
dance auditions will be Tuesday, Jan. 16, with singing and monologue auditions
on Wednesday, Jan. 17, and Jan. 18. If you want to get a head start in preparing for your audition, attend one of our audition workshops where we will review the audition songs and give some helpful audition tips. These workshops will take place after school on Tuesday, Jan. 9, and Thursday, Jan 11 in the choir room, J-12. See Ms. Pelligrino or Mrs. Carrow with any questions!
Your AP Scholar for Tuesday, January 9th is Tihnae Bennett! Tihnae is a senior and has
successfully completed AP US History, AP Psychology, AP Government. She is
currently taking AP Calculus. Tihnae feels that her AP classes have helped prepare her
for college since the material & workload are at a college level. She would recommend taking any AP class that you may be interested in since it can help boost your GPA and earn you college credit. She really enjoyed AP Gov since Mr. Wright is an awesome teacher & she feels it’s important to be educated on politics. Tihnae has applied to Western Michigan University, Michigan
State, and the University of Michigan. She plans on studying business.
