SSR will be during 5th hour today

There is AAC today-Thursday this week. Thursday there will be a testing in Ms.
Layton’s room.

Attention seniors! Do you know someone who is most likely to become president in the
year 2036, or that one couple who makes your heart melt every time you see them? It’s
time to nominate people for yearbook senior mock elections! Fill out a nomination form
at all three lunches from Tuesday to Thursday of this week!

Attention to those interested in auditioning for the spring musical, Little Shop of Horrors,
there has been a change to the audition schedule. Solo and small group singing and acting auditions will now take place after school on Tuesday, Jan 16, and Wednesday, Jan 17. Please sign up for an audition time outside room J-12. The group dance portion of the
audition has been moved to Thursday, Jan. 18 after school. All auditions will take place
in J-12, the choir room. If you want to get a head start in preparing for your audition, attend our final audition workshop today, Thursday after school. We will review the audition materials, sing through the audition music, and answer any questions you might have about the audition process.
Stop by the choir room to pick up a copy of the audition materials, and please see Ms.
Pelligrino or Mrs. Carrow.

The next Mental Health Awareness Arts Event meeting will take place in Ms. Layton’s
room K12 today, Tuesday, January 16th at 2:30

There are just 2 more days to until the Pot Luck dinner and informational meeting about
the trip to India this summer.  Please get a map or address from Mr. Allen or Mrs. May
the meeting will be at Mrs. Mays’ house on Thursday.

Students do you want to get into all the games for all sports for free and create a great
student section at the games?? Then come to the Cafeteria on Thursday and Friday
with $20.00 cash and buy your student section t-shirt and wear it to the games and you
will get in free.

Please save the date for the Winter Fest Dance on Friday, Feb 9th – the last regular school dance of the year- as Prom is for Juniors and Seniors. It will be after the basketball game is $5.00.  Tickets will begin to be sold in a few weeks.

The 2 trips for Travel Club adventures, Japan and Europe are still enrolling students.
The final enrollments are Feb. 15th.  Don’t delay to be part of this great opportunity

Your AP Scholar for today is Will Keller! Will is a junior and has successfully completed
AP US History. He is currently taking AP Psychology andAP Biology. Will has had to
adjust his study habits for the rigorous coursework required for his AP classes. He is
more disciplined and manages his time more efficiently, skills that he feels will be useful in college. Will is planning on applying to KCollege and Hope College his senior year to
study neuroscience.
