You just have two more chances to see the show: November 16, 17 at 7pm! Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, and $12 for adults. Enjoy great competition with GRIT and high speed action?  Come support your Loy Norrix classmates in Kalamazoo United Varsity Hockey team’s first home game this Saturday at Wings West against Holt Hockey.  Start time is 3:00 pm.  If you see the following players in class or walking the halls, cheer them on to a win!  Maxwell Byrd, Berkley Cox, Sean Mason, Gavin Pittman, Parker Remelius, Josh Schaefer, and Nolan Tribu.

Attention students going on the shopping trip to Michigan City and Chicago Saturday: The charter bus will leave promptly at 8:30 AM.  Remember to bring a pillow, blanket and snacks for yourself and dress warm.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: There will be a representative from Jackson State University here on Tuesday, November 20th at 1:15 to share information about a Historically Black College or University.

What do Oprah Winfrey, Adam Sandler and Malcolm X all have in common? They were all involved with their Forensics Teams before they became famous.  Do you aspire to be the next voice of our generation? Do you enjoy acting and competition? Join the state ranked Loy Norrix Forensics team! On Monday, November 26th- 2:30-3:00 and on Tuesday, November 27th 2:30-4 from we will hold a workshop and auditions for the team. Everyone is welcome and has a place on the team. Please see Coach Carrow in J11 with any questions.

Are you inspired by the works of Spielberg? Taratino? Coppola? You should grab and fill out an application to be a student director for Loy Norrix’s One Act Play Fest. Applications can be found in Mrs. Carrow’s room – J11 and are due by November 29th.

The Loy Norrix Competitive Cheer Team will have an organizational meeting on Monday, November 19 at 2:30 in Room K16.  Please sign the clipboard in the Athletic Office so we know you are interested. Tryouts will begin on Monday, November 26. Please make sure you have all information turned in by Tuesday. 

Senior pictures and quotes are due to the yearbook by December 1st! Quotes must be 100 characters or fewer and school appropriate. Both can be emailed to or brought to room K3 by the deadline.
