There will be no AAC today, Wednesday.  There will be AAC and the testing room on Thursday.

MLK Book Quiz Bowl members – have a mandatory meeting tomorrow, Thursday.

Attention Seniors! First Year Experience applications are due Tomorrow! If you are interested in applying for this Tri 3 program at WMU pick up an application packet in the counseling office or library with Ms. Nesbitt.

Grad Point will not be held after school this week.

Want to treat a special someone in your life to a special holiday message?  For a dollar you can write a special message, choose a ribbon and the flavor of candy cane!  These will be delivered this coming Thursday during 4th period.

CIS is looking to start up a Grief/Loss Counseling group in January.  The group will be 4-8 students and will meet once a week. If you are interested please come see Mr. Baker or Ms. Naz in the CIS offices in the B-Wing.

Seniors! The deadline for senior pictures and quotes has been extended until December 31st. This is the FINAL DEADLINE. Email photos and quotes to or bring in a hard copy to room K3. Your AP scholar for today is: Zoe Srackangast. Zoe is a senior & has completed AP Spanish, AP US Government, & AP Biology. She is currently taking AP Psychology, AP Language, AP Statistics, & AP Calculus. Since her AP classes have an increased workload they have pushed her to manage her time better, become more organized, & procrastinate less. She has enjoyed all of her AP classes, but recommends both AP Gov & AP Spanish with Mr Wright & Senora Holmes. Zoe has applied to U of M, MSU, Hope, GVSU, & Stanford. She plans on studying pre-med.

Your featured AP teacher is: Mr. Greg Stevens. Mr. Stevens teacher AP Studio Art which is a year-round class for students that are interested in studying art after high school.  During the school year students develop an art portfolio that not only shows their range of skills, but also allows them to choose an idea to explore in-depth. Students should take AP Studio Art if the are serious about exploring art after high school and are excited to take a class that mirrors university/collegiate learning.  Secondly, students taking AP Studio Art should have a strong desire to improve, explore and learn new skills.
