Your AP Scholar for today is: Ovy’once Hoskins! Ovy’once is a senior & has completed AP Biology, AP Chemistry, & AP Spanish. She feels that her AP classes have made her more prepared for the workload of college courses & helped her to become a more critical thinker. She would recommend both AP Spanish & AP Biology since they teach you about different cultures & make you more aware of your surroundings. She has applied to Tennessee State, Central Michigan, Grand Valley, & Michigan State to study neurology.

Your featured AP Teacher is: Ms. Rachel Larner. Ms. Larner teaches AP French. AP French is an opportunity for students to use the French language to deepen their understanding of the Francophone culture, while also improving their language skills. If you are considering pursuing French beyond the high school setting you should take AP so you can see and feel what second language study is like in a college class. Ms. Larner enjoys spending time with her dogs, hiking, traveling, board games, video games, & reading.
