The athletic office still has several awards students have not picked up, so if you played a fall sport and were unable to attend the Fall Sports Awards night on Nov 29th, please stop by the Athletic Office before or after school or during your lunch to pick up your award.

Chess Club meets Wednesday in room D10 from 2:20-3:30.  Anybody may attend, and Mr. Bellware will make a customized chess board for any student who beats him.

Class of 2020 will have an executive board meeting today, Tuesday 12-12 after school. 

AAC will be Tuesday and Thursday this week.  There is no AAC on Wednesday due to department meetings.  You MUST show up with assignments to complete.

Your AP Scholar for Today is Victor Moss! Victor is currently a senior & has passed AP US History & AP Language & Composition. He is currently taking AP Spanish. Since the workload is heavier in AP classes Victor feels that they have helped him manage his time more efficiently. He would recommend AP classes since you have the potential of earning college credit.  Victor would specifically recommend AP Lang because you learn to be a more analytical reader & skilled writer.  Victor has applied to Michigan State University, The University of Michigan, & Kalamazoo College, & hasn’t decided what he will major in.

Starting today, students who wish to use the library during lunch will need to pick up a Library Lunch Pass from Mr. Kreider or Ms. Landis before school starts. Students with a lunch pass may use the library for any appropriate purpose. No one will be allowed to enter during the last 10 minutes of lunch. All students need to sign in legibly with the time, first & last name, ID number, and task

If you are a Book Quiz Bowl member we will have mandatory meetings on Monday and Thursday next week. All annotations must be completed by this Sunday

Your AP Scholar today is Giselle Vega-Martinez!  Giselle is currently a junior & has passed both AP Spanish & AP US History. She is currently taking AP Psychology. Giselle’s AP classes have made her more responsible & organized. She would recommend AP Spanish since Mrs. Holmes is a great teacher & she feels that it is a great class to expand your knowledge about a different culture. Giselle plans on applying to WMU & MSU her senior year & would like to major in Social Work & Spanish.

Your AP Scholar for today is Nick Srodes! Nick is a senior & has passed both AP US History & AP US Government. He is currently taking AP Calculus & AP Chemistry. He feels that his AP classes have definitely prepared him for college next year by pushing him to create better study habits & work more efficiently. Nick would recommend AP US Government because it gave him an in depth understanding of the US political system and believes it gives students the knowledge to effect change in our country. Nick has applied to KCollege & been accepted to MSU Lyman Briggs, Michigan Tech, & Northern Michigan University. He plans on studying Biochemistry, Phytochemistry, or Biomedical Science.

rigorous curriculum in his AP classes reflects college courses, he feels that he will be
